The Fler "Fleroto" is a distinctive swivel chair designed by the renowned Australian furniture designer Fred Lowen for his company, Fler Furniture.

You are looking at a piece of Australian design history that captures the exact moment furniture went from "stiff and wooden" to "fun and swivelling." It is a fun, sculptural piece that works well as an accent chair in a modern lounge.

It is a significant piece because it marks a departure from the wood-heavy, Scandinavian-influenced designs Lowen was famous for in the 1950s (like the SC55 and Narvik), moving instead toward the "Space Age" aesthetic that defined the late 1960s.
