Arne Vodder 'Lene' Rosewood & Leather Armchair

The 'Lene' armchair, designed by Arne Vodder in 1966, in rosewood and leather.

Vodder is one of the names Danish collectors look for, and the Lene shows why — the rosewood frame is cut fine enough to look almost fragile while carrying a full-size chair, and the grain does all the decorative work. Rosewood of this quality is no longer available at any price.

In very nice original condition throughout, which is unusual for a chair approaching sixty.
