The bedsides detach, which is the useful part. Run it as a single integrated bedhead spanning the wall, or separate the pieces and place the tables where the room actually needs them. Most bedroom sets of this period offer no such choice.

Matched teak throughout, so the grain runs consistently across the whole arrangement — the thing that never quite works when a headboard and bedsides are assembled from separate finds.
