A teak armchair by Otto Larsen, newly reupholstered in Warwick commercial-grade blue vinyl.

Larsen came to New Zealand from Denmark in 1958 and set up a workshop in Auckland, and through the 1960s and 70s he did more than anyone to introduce New Zealand households to Scandinavian modern — clean lines, organic forms, locally made. His work reaches Australia rarely.

Commercial-grade vinyl means this will take daily use rather than needing care.
