Highboard Oak cabinet by Henning Kjærnulf, 1960s by EG Møbler.

Mid-Century Modernism inspired by ornamentation medieval, comes with a key.

Dimensions 169cm width x 128cm tall x 46cm depth

The three upper panels feature intricate, scrolling heart motifs deeply carved into the solid oak, with the flanking doors containing small keyhole escutcheons.

Traditional rope-twist vertical dividers separate the carved sections, providing a sharp contrast to the deep, horizontal fluting cut into the two lower full-width drawers.

The drawers are fitted with dark, circular metal ring pulls that complement the medieval aesthetic of the woodwork.

These carved oak designs have seen a massive resurgence as the market increasingly seeks out the warmth and textural depth of Brutalist furniture.
