Kolter Teak Dining Chairs

Six Kolter teak dining chairs from the 1960s, on tapered matchstick legs.

Matchstick legs are the signature — turned fine and tapered to a point, so the chair appears to stand on almost nothing. It takes a well-chosen timber to do that without the leg failing, which is why Kolter frames from this period are still sound.

Firm cushions in vintage fabric, ready to use as they are. The high 85cm back gives a dining table more presence than standard chairs manage.
