Macrob Set of Six Dining Chairs in Mustard Vinyl

Six dining chairs made in Australia by Macrob, in the Danish idiom that shaped Australian furniture through the 1960s.

The frames are solid oak — robust, squared, and built to a standard that explains why they have survived sixty years of daily use. Against them sits a rectangular backrest in teak veneer, its honey grain set deliberately against the paler oak. The upholstery is mustard vinyl, the colour that dates the set precisely and, worn well, has come back into favour.

A complete set of six is increasingly hard to find. This is a dining set you will not replace.
