Post-Modern Brass & Smoked Glass Shelf Unit

A modular shelf unit in brass and smoked glass, made in Australia in the 1970s.

Industrial timber uprights carrying brass fittings and smoked glass shelves — a combination almost nobody was making here at the time, which is why these have quietly become collectable.

Modular, so it builds up or reduces to suit the wall. The smoked glass keeps it visually light despite the industrial frame, and at 45cm square in plan it takes almost no floor.
