Burgess Golden Teak Nesting Tables — 1970s

A set of nesting tables by Burgess in golden teak, from the 1970s.

The design sits in the same territory as G Plan and Kalmar — clean tapered legs, a simple stacked profile, nothing decorative. Burgess made fewer of them than either, which is why the name comes up less and the price does too.

Golden teak rather than the darker stock, so they lighten a room instead of adding to the timber already in it.

Excellent condition with very minor signs of wear.
