Golden teak is the warmer, lighter end of the timber — honeyed rather than brown, and it lifts a room where darker teak weights it.

Compact at 79cm wide and only 37cm deep, so it fits a study, a bedroom, or a hallway wall that could not take anything larger. The adjustable shelf means it holds books, files or display pieces equally.

Small mid-century storage is harder to find than large — most of what survives was built for dining rooms.
