Chiswell Teak Buffet Sideboard

A Chiswell buffet sideboard in teak, made in Australia in the 1960s.

The deep-profile door trim is what dates it precisely — a heavier moulding than Chiswell used in the following decade, and a detail that catches light across the front rather than presenting flat.

Adjustable shelves inside, spaced to take LPs upright, which is the use most of these now find. Timber grain left visible rather than sealed under a heavy finish.

Excellent vintage condition throughout.
