A Chiswell teak bar hutch and sideboard, made in Australia in the 1970s.

The drop-down drinks bar is the piece everyone wants and almost nobody finds intact — a hinged front that becomes a serving surface, with storage for six wine bottles behind it. Adjustable glass shelves above, and mirrored backs on each side that throw light through whatever is displayed.

The signature divider back and solid tapered cigar legs are Chiswell's own detailing, and the reason this reads as furniture rather than a cabinet.
