Chiswell Teak Canted Bar & Cocktail Cabinet — 1970s

A Chiswell canted corner cabinet in teak, built as a two-tier bar and cocktail unit.

Canted means hexagonal — angled to sit into a corner rather than across it, which is how a piece this substantial takes up almost no usable floor. At 172cm tall it turns dead space into the focal point of a room.

The upper section is outfitted as a drinks cabinet with a mirrored back and timber display shelving. The base is enclosed storage, sized for bottles, records or dinnerware.

Impressive solid construction, and extremely well made.
