Danish Blackwood Sculptural Armchair, Wool

A sculptural Danish armchair in solid Blackwood, upholstered in wool. Priced per chair.

The timber carries this piece. Solid rather than veneered, shaped rather than merely joined, with a depth of grain that only comes from the real thing. Sculptural frames like this were expensive to produce and easy to damage, which is why so few have survived intact.

Two are available, so a matched pair is possible, and the three-seater lounge from the same group is listed separately.

Webbing is redone before dispatch, which adds a couple of days to the order.
