Danish Teak Highboard Sideboard, E.W. Bach Style — 1960s

A Danish teak highboard from the 1960s, in the manner of E.W. Bach.

Four sliding doors rather than hinged — nothing swings into the room, which is why a 200cm piece can sit in a space that would not take a conventional sideboard. Behind them: shelves, two internal drawers, and three lip-edge drawers across the front.

Lip edges instead of applied handles keep the front entirely flat, so the teak grain runs uninterrupted across the full width.

Fully refinished with Osmo hard wax.
