This is original Scandinavian production rather than an Australian interpretation, and the difference shows in the restraint — graceful minimalist lines, a teak frame doing only what it needs to, and a backrest gently contoured to invite you to lean into it.

The seat has been generously padded and reupholstered in green wool, which sits well against both period and contemporary dining tables. Restoration used natural materials throughout, so the chair still carries traces of its history rather than looking newly made.
