The frame is solid Tasmanian Blackwood — a dense hardwood that gives the sofa its weight and its warmth, and which has kept these structurally sound where lesser frames have long since given out. Tapered arms and clean architectural lines keep it light in a room despite the scale.

Van Treight worked through the golden era of Australian mid-century design, and collectors now place these alongside Parker, Fler and Chiswell. New foam throughout, and upholstery in the fabric you select. We post samples before any work begins.
