Kalmar Teak & Smoked Glass Coffee Table — 1970s

A Kalmar teak and smoked glass coffee table from around 1970, fully restored.

Timber frame carrying a smoked glass top — the combination that lets a 90cm table sit in a small living room without dominating it, because you see straight through to the floor.

The frame has been completely restored and finished in fresh coats of Danish oil, which feeds the timber rather than sealing a film over it.

Some small scratches to the glass, consistent with its age.
