Modular Four-Seater Lounge, Brown Velvet — 1970s

A four-section modular lounge in brown velvet, dating from the 1970s.

Two end pieces and two middles, which can be run as a straight four-seater, split into two pairs, or separated entirely across rooms. Each section moves easily on its own — the practical advantage of modular seating that fixed sofas never offer, particularly in an apartment or up a stairwell.

Original upholstery, with some superficial marks and blemishes consistent with its age. The price reflects that.
