Parker Nordic No. 161 Teak Armchair, Sage Green — 1960s

The Parker Nordic No. 161 armchair, made in Australia in the 1960s, in sage green cord fabric.

The high back is what sets the 161 apart from Parker's occasional chairs — it supports the head properly, so this is a chair for an evening rather than a perch. The Nordic frame keeps it visually light despite the height.

Sage green cord is a period fabric that has come back around entirely. It reads soft and modern against teak.

Overall good condition, with one minor repair to the fabric.
