A Jason teak dressing table from the 1960s, with a triptych mirror.

The triptych is the feature — a large central mirror flanked by two adjustable wing mirrors in curved timber frames, which lets you see the sides of your head as well as the front. Almost no dressing table made since bothers.

A symmetrical floating top over five drawers: two on each side, one long shallow drawer in the centre. Period brass 'smile' pull handles, and tapered out-swept cigar legs that keep the whole piece light despite its width.

Australian-Scandinavian design at its most confident.
