Parker Cat's Eye Sideboard, Extra Large — 1960s

The Parker Nordic sideboard in its extra-long form — teak and Blackwood, made in Australia in the 1960s, and one of the rarest pieces the company produced.

The 'cat's eye' hardware is what identifies it instantly: a sculpted recessed pull that Parker used on its top line and nobody has successfully imitated since. Combined with the 227cm span, this is the sideboard collectors are actually looking for.

Teak and Blackwood together give both the warmth and the density, finished to bring the grain forward.
