Brutalist furniture takes its cue from the architecture — heavy timber left visibly structural, joinery shown rather than hidden. Solid pine arms and legs carry a leather seat pad, and the contrast between rough frame and soft hide is the whole point of the design.

The leather has been cleaned and conditioned to bring up its natural patina rather than refinished, so it still reads as its age.
