Dovetailed drawers are the detail worth knowing. Dovetails take time and skill and were the first thing dropped when furniture making industrialised — finding them on an Australian piece of this period says a good deal about how it was built.

Six drawers with hidden handles, so the front reads as a single unbroken surface. It works as a sideboard as readily as a dresser.

Solid condition, with honest wear: some veneer damage, scuffs and dings, marks inside the drawers, and visible holes where a mirror once sat. No mirror included. See the images for detail.
