Börge Lindau Swedish Chrome Chair — 1970s

A Swedish chrome chair from the 1970s by Börge Lindau and Bo Lindekrantz.

Lindau and Lindekrantz worked as a pair for most of their careers, and their signature is exactly this: chrome tube reduced to the minimum that will hold a seat. Nothing decorative, nothing concealed. Scandinavian restraint applied to steel rather than timber, which was the less travelled path in that decade.

Good condition, and small enough to work as a desk chair or an extra seat that disappears when not in use.
