Mid-Century Timber Nesting Tables

A nest of four polished solid timber tables from the 1960s.

Four is unusual — most nests were made in threes, and the fourth table is almost always the one that went missing over sixty years. A complete set of four is a genuinely rare survival.

Solid timber rather than veneer throughout, which is why they have stayed square. Polished rather than lacquered, so the grain still reads.

Stacked they occupy one table's footprint. Spread out they cover a room.
