Wave Teak Sideboard, Large

A Chiswell sideboard from the mid-1960s with wave door handles — the full-length version at 205cm.

This is the model in its intended proportion. At over two metres it fills a dining room wall the way it was designed to, and the wave handles run the length of the front as a single repeated motif rather than appearing as two isolated details.

Finding one this long in this condition is genuinely rare; most were broken up or damaged in moving.

Tapered leg framework, treated with Danish oil.
