Regency Revival Walnut Nesting Tables, Set of Three

A trio of Regency Revival walnut nesting tables.

The unusual one is the circular table with a drop-leaf mechanism — nesting sets are almost always rectangular, and a round drop-leaf within a nest is a genuine rarity rather than a marketing claim.

The legs carry reeding: fine vertical grooves cut into the timber, a Regency detail that takes real work and is the reason these read as considerably older than mid-century.

Walnut throughout, with the depth of colour that only walnut gives.
