Lime green and chrome together is Space Age design at its least apologetic — the decade when furniture stopped referencing timber and tradition entirely and started looking like something from a film set.

The swivel base gives it flexibility at a desk or dining table, and vinyl of this period takes daily use in a way the era's fabrics never did.

A single chair with this much colour does more work in a room than a matched set of anything neutral.
